Maxwell’s Place was founded in honor of Jeremy Maxwell who died from a Fentanyl overdose July 19th, 2016.

Every moment without Jeremy reminds us that behind every statistic is a heartbeat, a family, a story unfinished; may his memory inspire courage and hope in your journey toward healing.

Maxwell's Place is a North Carolina 501(c)3 nonprofit Organization

Your companion on the road to recovery

Navigating the substance use treatment system can be confusing and overwhelming. Maxwell’s Place is a collaborative initiative dedicated to simplifying that process by providing a central point of information. The center’s staff and volunteers have the expertise to answer questions, initiate the treatment admission process, and make referrals as needed. All services are voluntary and are offered at no cost to the client.

Let Us Be Your Resource - Please Call Us Today

Please note that Maxwell’s Place is still growing. We do not have a physical location and operate out of the homes of our staff and volunteers. Although we are able to meet you in-person, it is encouraged to call ahead. Believe in the strength that lives within you; you’re worth more than your struggles. Every step you take towards recovery is a testament to your resilience and worth.
